I've been looking into getting a better camera, in the price range of around 1000 bucks. I came across an ebay listing for a D50, from a reputable seller, and thought I'd get your feedback on it's value. If you had no camera equipment, and were going to spend no more than 1000 dollars total, which package would you go for? Nikon? Canon? The guy at the local camera shop here was really pushing the D70 over the D50, with it's 100 dollar mail in rebate. I guess Nikon is clearing it's inventory. Thanks for your input!
