Hiya!

The other day i entered my spider/web-macro to this contest and this morning i got an email saying the following:

Dear Andreas Stridsberg,

We have chosen to publish your photograph in the 2005 edition of Photography vibes. Your photograph was selected out of 8523 entries. Your work below was appreciated for the assymetric composition and light mix used throughout.

Then they added a link to where i can order that book, some certicates...bla bla...And what not. I have to buy that book if i want to compete for the grand prize of 5000$. Now my question is, has anyone of you ever entered that contest?

I doubt i will pay for anything though. Dont see the point in competing if i end up paying to get the prize dont you agree? At least im getting an invitation to the "global photography conference"...wherever that might be, lol. Ah well, im still very flattered that they picked me...YAY!!! First time i ever "won" something or qualifed for anything. HOOORAY FOR ME, LOL!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
