Hey guys, ladies. I haven't been posting for a while (again), I had a lot of work lately, but I took time to work on some Bryce projects ( during hollidays ;-p ) ... I'm still having fun with terrains.. and now I got some quiet cool hi rez textures (and maps) based on pictures taken outdoor in "the old Paris".. here are some of my stuff.

This a "grid" for trees planted along the streets the grid is a terrain and the floor a 2D plan

Just a wall with a door... but I like the way it look, the column on both side of the wall are just some cubes with a pic texture/map, the ground is seamless.. just as the wall

the wall and the gate perfectly fit each other.. it's just terrific with some right lightings for a night scene! Most of the textures are 2k! I know it's quiet haevy but it allow some really cool close up! Cheers!!!!! ps ( pictures taken with a digital camera canon ixus )

Great stuff, all of it :-) You're making good use of the camera, that's for sure (especially the textures on the cubes).

You Europeans are so lucky. All that great old stuff to draw textures from. Great stuff!

Good to hear from you pidjy!! Amazing stuff, bringing old Paris alive in 3D. Yup, I'm a bit jealous too.

They look amazing. Some exceptional textures you've captured, for sure. ? Are you going to be giving freebies of these textures. I'll take them off your hands in a second;)

I never intended to make art.

I love the stone wall. But the concrete on the top pic is far from bad, too. :-)
