Kentucky has been in a drought most of the summer.well, guess what? our RR photo shoot is coming up Wed. we have a tropical storm headed our way. you believe that?????
kemal and i are supposed to be meeting Gene (and maybe Mark) on Wed. and are still planning to as of now.
Gene may have already left Ohio for Ky....said he may get there a few days before us. I can't reach him on his cell.
We could have a very interesting photo shoot...could all images from inside at the lodge! LOL! Right now we're under a flood watch and so is the area we're headed to, which is also right along the Ohio River.
we may end up hiking in the MUD...IF the rain holds off! Oh boy!!!! this should be interesting! :)
Wish us luck!

i'm glad i decided to wait. lol and i don't know if i mentioned it or not Sheila, but i was getting ready to call you when you tried "one last time". lol warped minds think alike i tell ya! ;-) i read up on the area when we were still planning on going and it looks and sounds gorgeous! and i'm quite sure WE can get MUCH better shots than the ones i found on the web! lol (man! where do they get those pictures? someone's trash? sorry but even the IN state site had terrible images on it.) we'll have to submit something to them as a gift even! lol ok...done being catty...for now at least. here Cindy...i'm sending a lot of rain your way too! (we've only had rain as such and no high winds as predicted. thank goodness.) and yeah it really was a shellshock! i feel so bad for the people in New Orleans and actually the whole state of LA.
