I have participated in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards for the first time last year. I did really well at state, but not at nationals. But thats not why I am here. There are three categories that relate by using computer software. Computer Art, Digital Imagery, and Graphics design. By what I understand, Computer Art is using the computer to make 3D images. Digital Imagery is using a digital camera and maybe PhotoShop. Finally graphics design is for portraying an idea or a sales pitch, for example. The Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards, in my view, have blurred these three lines almost to non-existence. And to say the least I am appalled, and almost outraged. So I ask, what to you, the Renderosity Patrons, think of these three topics and definitions. Thanks for using your time to read. Scoleman
