I wish to render an image of a speedboat moving rapidly across the surface of the water. Bryce 5.0 can render water just fine: problem is, how do I render/postwork the line of white ocean spray that depicts the movement of the boat? Does anyone know of any techniques? Render or Postwork? Thank Yew.

Thanks for the response, Mahray! I really like Zhann's tutorial. draculaz, the page you referred me to (www.thewings3dsite.tk) features only Wings3d tutorials. I was looking for Bryce (or photoshop) tutorials. But thanks anyway. :)

You could also check here. They have a recipies section, but I'm pretty sure the actual making of it is patened.

it's not easy..I've tried in the past with cylinders using cloud textures, but it wasn't too convincing..;) If you're up to it, you might try making a greyscale image of the wake, then import it into Bryce, and make a water texture..spray..now that's hard..

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I have not try it on makeing spay but you can use this to made a planet spay apart or put it in photoshap and cut what you wish and put it on a terr. and shape it how you wish with a brush in the terr edit. Think I try this myself like i say I not sure. or get a image in photoshap and pass it though fithers that will make a lot of dots. that what i did and get what size spay you wish I had to down size my image i use[made it a poor image now] but it give you an ideal of what to look for. a lot of dots

what you see is not what you know; it in your face
