Oh my!! What a POV!!! LOL!! Love the shot and the toning!! And also that kind of "naive" art, with very simple lines, exaggerated features!! This one looks like a fertility goddess of some sort. Kinda common to many cultures, woman represented with HUGE breasts and VERY curvy! Did u participate in the marches???

U did this?? WOW!!! Even better!!! Fantastic!! I love sculpture so much!! I'm always amazed at how someone can actually extracts shapes and curves and traits out of a piece of stone/bronze/marble and so on!! I totally admire Camille Claudel's work!! Would love to see more of these Modesty! wink

U can check my "Artwork"/"sculptures" on Modesty.just.nu I have some pieces there, I think...... At the moment Im working on a big one :) "BuddaMammon" silly "working name"..but...I have my doubts bout religion & I sertainly have doubts...bout money/and greed..... "BuddaMammon" represents "greed" and its a big fat person swallowing everything in its way.......Im going to let 'ya know how he "develops" LOL!!! P&K

Vancouver's history as a city has its roots in what was a tiny settlement nicknamed Gastown. The name Gastown came into use because a Fraser River pilot turned saloonkeeper with the name Capt. John 'Gassy Jack' Deighton was in 1867 the first settler on the site from which Vancouver was to evolve. (In Victorian times the term 'to gas' referred to talking a lot, something which Captain Deighton had become famous for.)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I know you are new to this ovag....so I will explain....we only have one upload each member per Simon Says Thread. Somehwere I will dig up the original guidleine of it. One reason is because these can get really lengthy, and then many people cannot see the threads if thier connection is slow. W try to be fair to all.
