It is very possible, you would just choose the polygon groups from the body instead of the head. How it would look, I don't know. Haven't tried it personally, but I've seen animals given fur with the hair room and it looked good :) - Noel

It is. Dynamic hair can be grown on any mesh. For body hair, I'd recommend using very few vertices per hair, 5 or so, to keep resource usage at a reasonable level. And you won't have to calculate the body hair, since it's very short (usually). The total amount of strands can be quite large, however, and that will limit the amount of characters/props in your scenes.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I have done it, it works, but uses a lot of resources and takes time. I was going for a particular look and I am not very good at doing Transmaps, so I tried this route. I will see if I can find the image. I do not think I ever finished it! One thing I remember besides keeping the verts down is the Root Stiffness high and the Root Stiffness falloff low length (had to go open Poser because can not remember what they call all the settings!) Play around with the Gravity and others some too. If I find the file I will do a screen shot of the Hair Room. (It was a P5 File, but I think they are the same.)
