I have had Poser 6 just about since it came out, yes I have the service packs installed. Ever since I started using it, whenever I render anything,or sometimes just when I try to load something, it's always unable to find a texture. Or two. Or it can't find morphs to inject. Needless to say, this is really starting to anny me, does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Do I have to reinstall?

Does this happen with the standard content delivered with Poser6 or other 3rd party content? Do you have any previous version of Poser installed? The directory structure could simply be wrong and you may need a reinstall of Poser6.

No, it's only 3rd party stuff (I think, I hardly ever use Poser original goodies, but Jessi was working fine) I don't have any other Poser installed and when I took P5 out and put P6 in, I reinstalled all my content also. Thanks for responding!

Some 3rd party object reference textures by absolute path names, or by path names that are abbreviated somewhat too much. That might cause these texture problems. CorrectReference by Hogsoft (free version available, look in freestuff here) can fix those references. A word of warning: many 3rd party products come with items and MAT poses in both P4 and PP versions. Delete all the P4 versions - you won't need them anyway - they'll slow down CorrectReference something fierce. Good luck!

I've been mulling over weather to get CRPro (I don't think the free version is available anymore) but I have been putting it off LOL. I do delete all the files for other Poser version, I dislike clutter LOL. My runtimes are way more organised than my house! LOL. Thanks for writing back. And by the way, your clothes made me fall in love with the cloth room, thanks so much for being so generous with them!

P6 has changed the way it stores texture paths. And the way it searches for them. Not seen anything about either of these elsewhere. Both seem to be (very) retrograde steps IMHO, but are too big to just be a simple coding error. Check out the forums in hogsoft's site for details.
