Ain't technology grand? Apple finally created a 4GB flash player that can fit in the palm of your hand. Just a little bigger than the iPod Shuffle, it has 14 hrs of battery life and can hold 3 days worth of music. Or just under 4GB of photos. I'm not sure about connectivity issues and the like, but looks a like it could be a good place to store photos AND listen to your favorite tunes. I know I bring my old 1st Gen iPod with me when I go on solo photo shoots, so I would consider this camera gear. And at this size, you could fit it almost anywhere. :: submitted for the consideration of the gadget heads in this forum ::

OOOOOOH!!!! Took me under consideration then, lol. Oooh, i want one of those! Looks soooooo NEAT!!! Color display and everything!!! How much will this one cost? Probably twice as much here in Sweden so i reckon i shall have to ask some friendly RR-member in the states for help as i did with my cam. #:O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I'm not sure any iPod has one, but Belkin makes one for them. They cost about $250 Andreas. :)

For about $200 more, you get 40GB disk, 3.8" 212 dpi display, 17.8 MP on screen, Canon and Nikon (etc.) RAW display, ability to play movies and MP3s... Yeah, it's bigger and heavier, but the screen is to die for.

Another great addition to the camera bag. I'd wait `till the next generation version though, given dpreview's conclusion. :)

It was written for the original firmware and half of that doesn't apply anymore. In the latest firmware release Epson added support for 350XT RAW, *iST RAW, the ability to display 17.8 MP images and so on and so on.

Just ordered a 2 GB sleek black Nano for wifey for surprise anniversary present. She had been off and on hinting about an Ipod Mini--she probably don'e even know this is out (announced on the 7th). This little cutie should tickle her a bit (smile).

There is an apple iPod camera connector for the iPod.
