OK I like this one even better and am giving it another title. I find the colors in this version much more dreamy then the last one. Your opinions please everyone! Have a look at the post in the link in this message and compare the two. Which do you like better and why? Should I post this one in my gallery in place of Glow? Should I post this one under separate title along with Glow? Or is Glow the better image and maybe I shouldn't post this one at all? Hugs! Brenda :)ChuckEvans posted Fri, 09 September 2005 at 8:53 PM
I agree with you. 3rd one hands down. Should feel good working with an image and finally getting it to where you like it. Good job!

I love #2 and #3...hehe I think #3 is probably the most finished looking but I also like the softer tones in #2. Beautiful photo all around Brenda! :-)

I like 3 the best , great shot and post work on it. I would just replace the other with #3. opps just followed the link . Changed my mind now. I like both finished ones almost equal The glow one you posted and Dream cast . They each have good things about them. Glow shows more depth and I like the ripples that are faded out a bit in the new one. But the new one has good things as well. I am not sure I would upload the new one . Me personaly I do not like to have that simular of a shot in my gallery but that just me. Though I would put them togeather into a big image side by side and repost it.

Thank you Brenda, for looking at the image and going back to square one. Of these three samples, I strongly feel that number three is the more refined. The first one is more like an over exposed photograph or one that has flare or film fogging. The second one is still lifeless while the adjustments in contrast has brought out the cypress and give the image the bite it needed. It feel very much as if it is just a few minutes away from the sun setting behind the horizon line, making number three certainly the more realistic. To answer your other question, I would not have almost identical images in my gallery, therefore my suggestion would be to remove the earlier upload and replace it with this one. Congratulations on the reworked version. It is truly excellent and reflects your best quality.

OK replaced the image in the gallery with "Dream Cast", thank you once again for your advice! Had I not gone back and reworked the image I may have never done the other two for this series! Brenda :)

Gorgeous work Brenda!!!! I personally prefer the sky in the 2nd but the water in the 3rd. Im pretty sure though, that you tried every possible combination and that you definitly went with the right one. Really beautiful!!!
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Maybe they "rock you like a hurricane" Kort? ;) Oh I think I just dated myself with that statement! LOL! Anyway Kort, you made me blush! Thank you all for your valuable opinions, without your opinions I might not have created this small series, because I was having a hard time making that image work. If I showed you all the original image you would flip, so I retain the right to keep it to myself for now, at least until I show what I am going to show from this series. Brenda :)

LoL. There was actually a Mission U.K. song, Blow Like a Hurricane, but it really doesn't apply. ;] Looking forward to your series.
