It's something for Bryce. Some space ship called the AH-9100.

I agree. I also don't like the look of a lot of Bryce items. I don't think it's the artist's fault, I just think Bryce seems to be very limited...

I would have been happy to buy a Poser version at that price but Bryce? How can it be converted?
Casette posted Sat, 10 September 2005 at 8:07 AM
Bryce is basically for landscapes Poser is basically for characters ...and I draw characters the most of times (okay, you can import a Poser scene to Bryce to use its lights, but... what the hell two programs instead one?)

I still haven't figured out exactly what that item is supposed to be. Looks like a mix of space ship, dune buggy and battered old ford. ;o)

I noticed in the latest Daz e-mail that they are offering some kind of reward or incentive program, if Daz members refer people to sale items (see R. Hatch's thread below), possibly like this Bryce thing. I am interested in seeing if this will mean an increase in Daz ads here and at other unaffiliated sites. Not that the ads bother me, since they're unobstrusive and I can easily ignore them. I understand that they are saying in R. Hatch's thread below that the shills don't get any reward unless they have a link somewhere that identifies the shill as the source of the potential sale, but I'm still interested in seeing if we get an increase in Daz ads here. For example, instead of 1 or 2 per day as it is now, will it increase to 4 or 5? If the requirement for the link is the only limiting factor, then I predict the ads won't increase noticeably.

The scifi craft is Bryce, I was sad too, but.... "Free version of a similar model available at http://www.3dheaven.net/start.htm Under downloads/modelle/scifi in 3DS format. Cool site BTW, lots of excellent models. " ;)Acadia posted Sat, 10 September 2005 at 4:30 PM
I think the affiliate program is more for personal sites for people to earn money towards purchases. I have a links area set up on my site and already have a Daz link there, so I plan on checking into the affiliates program and see if I can generate some money towards my purchases at Daz.
