Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Would you upload an image of what you describe? I don't really understand. What is splash water effect? Multiply 1 pixel to twenty? Does this mean when it finds a dot of noise it expnds it out over the neighboring pixels? I use Photoshop 8 and PaintShopPro 9. I use film grain and some paper sample textures I can paint on.

There is a texturing forum, but it's totally dead. Since this pertains to Poser texturing specifically, this is a great place for it. I've also pasted in a Google search that looks promising (the first link, a tutorial at digitalproducer.com, is quite nice). I'm trying to learn skin texturing myself, so thank you for encouraging me to actually find these :)This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Hi! I'm really sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I read over every forum description and couldn't really find one to post this in, so I figured here would be ok as this pertains to Poser figures and the like. Ok...so anyway... I was wondering if there was an articial way to add skin impurities in say...photoshop or a similar paint program. I don't own Poser or Photoshop...but I found that by using the magic wand tool in Photo Studio and then the splash water effect on that new layer, it will miltiply about 1 pixel to 20...creating the illusion of skin impurities and freckles....that's how I've made my skin...both on the faces and the body...works very well...also, film grain can add a nice touch too...so anyway...if anybody knows if there's a special and easier way to add those things(besides copying and pasting photos), can you let me in on it? lol Donna
