I'm trying to help a friend get her Poser 6 set up. I have Poser 5 :) Anyway, she was using Daz Studio but now needs to move stuff from there to Poser 6 runtimes. I'm going to get her set up with multiple runtimes from the very start, but need to know if the file structure in Poser 6 is the same as it is in Poser 5... .like in the link above. And about Daz Studio.... would it be best to have her reinstall files or is it easy to move them from Daz to Poser."It is good to see ourselves as

File structure in Poser 6 is identical with Poser 5. You just got a new file type in materials (.mc6) for material collections. I don't know anything about Studio files.
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Daz files are totally different from poser and can`t be copied to poser or shared with poser. One of the reasons why daz studio is not so good.

Thank you for that information.

I still say that they should use the poser format as well as their own format. It could make daz studio much more popular and would make it much more useable.
