Big news day for ShaderSpider!
ShaderSpider(Mac) is now available, and is 50% off! ShaderSpider Mac is version 1.15 out of the box, so it includes "ShaderSpider for props" and support for "wedge" partial shaders.
ShaderSpider (PC) 1.2 has been released. New in this version:
"Wedge" partial shaders have been introduced. You can now set partial shaders (FX6 files) to take whatever's plugged into an input they want to use (ie, a map plugged into Diffuse_Color), and plug it elsewhere in the effect. (See illustration)
"Wedge" FX6 files can be used as regular partial shaders by ShaderSpider 1.0, the wedging feature will just be ignored.
Help files updated for wedge FX6's.
Two new sample FX6 files: GradientBump2Bump moves an node from the gradient bump input to the bump input. A new Veins FX6 does the effect illustrated below.
Minor tweaks to some internal operations for better reliability.
1.2 update is cumulative: ShaderSpider 1.1's fixes and changes are included.

Cool :) Ignore my post at DAZ nuts n bolts - it all seems to be working now. I have a non-standard Poser installation.

Should we apply Update 1.1 first and then 1.2?

Thanks Poseworks. This is awesome. That sort of functionality was the one thing missing from a fantastic utility. This opens up a world of possibilities.

No need to install the 1.1 update--that's included in the 1.2 update. Re: Help files; I updated the "How to Use Partial Shaders" tutorial to mention the new window, but this probably warrants a tutorial of its own. I'll add one to the ShaderSpider Online Help later today! Thanks for the feedback, guys and gals!

Is there supposed to be a pic showing the veins fx6?
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
