How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Good morning everyone :0)) As I had the afternoon off yesterday, I wasn't here to see all the kind birthday wishes. I'm here now though and I'd like to thank each and everyone for making this particular birthday one of the best ever!! :0)) I certainly had a stunning day. And no Andreas my friend, I didn't get the cam. I got a dishwasher instead. lol Yeah, I thought it very funny at the time, though a friend of ours is going to Europe on vacation during October and I'll be getting that cam of mine as soon as Blendin gets back. :0)) So, actually I'm getting two huge pressies for my birthday. How cool is that?!? And... And... Who knows who Matthys Roets is? He's a very well known singer in South Africa. Though we've known him before he became famous. When hubby was still a student and I was fresh out of College (just started working) we came across a restaurant by the name of "Pavarotti's" situated in Sammy Marx Squaure in Pretoria CBD. Twice a week there was a singer there, sharing his soul through his voice with the people eating at the restaurant. We enjoyed him tremendously and made a point of remembering his name - Matthys Roets. So, last week I received an e-mail from a good friend of mine, advertising one of his shows coming up in the Aula Theatre at the University of Pretoria. When? Ohhhh!!! On my b'day!!! So, what did I do? Forwarded the mail to hubby with the following words:"Look at the date!" hint hint giggle It didn't take two brain cells to figure out that I wanted to go see his show. So, sweet as hubby is, he booked us tickets!!! So, yesterday was my second b'day that I shared with an old friend :0)) Yeah, second. Had supper at Pavarotti's when I turned 20. Needless to say that was ages ago!! ;0)) So, I did have a stunning day! And thanx to you Andreas, you just turned it into a SUPER day!! Thank you so much my friend. Be sure of the fact that I will for sure return the favour in the very near future ;0))
