I tried to open my one and only successful Vue Esprit project file and it won't open.
Stupidly, I treated the file like a Bryce scene file, that is, I thought it contained everything in the scene.
Of course, Vue is looking for external files such as Poser assets, all of which I've deleted thinking I didn't need them anymore.
Now I can't open the scene to get to the assets that were part of the scene file.
Help!!

Yes, a dangerous thing - this link to Poser files. Do you have an idea what the pz3 was? I had that problem once as well, put together the same Poser characters (includsing hair, clothes and props) - does not count in what pose and saved it in the same place as the "original" was. Then Vue will recognise that this is an update of the original and you simply have to say "no" and hopefully your scene is back. Then ungroup the imported Poser characters (and regroup if you feel the need) so that the link is destroyed. Welding will help as well. Or saving as a vob and loading that then.
One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

Eeekk!!! I think I can do that, but I've found the Poser update feature I rich mine of application crashes and lost data. Still, got nothing to lose by trying. Thanks!
