OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN!!! I woke up about 3 hours ago (yes, at 5.30pm!! O_o) and I got those 2 IM's from Andreas and Douggy telling me "congrats! U deserve it!" and I'm like "what the hell are they talking about?". Would have I thought of that?? NEVER!! A surprise??? Well yes indeed!!! I don't really know what to say...I'm kinda gobsmacked right now.....O_O
I only started photography 7 months ago, on the 25th of February 2005 to be precised, day of our purchase of the Sony f717, and a love story started from that day on. I realize now that my photomanipulation period was just the way to get there and give me the opportunity to learn how to use those fantastic editing programmes. I actually wanted a better cam only to take better quality pics (in terms of pixels, not in terms of photography) for my photomanips. Didn't know anything about photography at all, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, ISO and so on was complete Chinese to me. Then I started pressing that 'lil shutter on the Sony and wow!!! Now this is so cool!!! And here I am now, Gallery of the Month and I'm having a hard time believing it!!!
Thx to all of u who helped me grow and learn!! Oh yes, cos I have to say, and that's damn important, that all I know about photography now, and even though it's not much, I learnt it HERE!!! Yes!! In this very forum!!! No photography lessons nor books, nope, all HERE!!!! How crazy is that??
U guys are such an outstanding bunch of wicked people!!! Yep!
From the bottom of my heart: Thx u again!!!
I love u all! (well, almost! ;)) Hehe!
Jeez, for someone who didn't know what to say, I wrote a hell of a lot huh! O_o
