Hey there . just thought I would mention that the cool looking Battlesuit: WaveFront OBJ By jbezorg is listed as PC/Mac .. but it is an exe file. Don't know of any file translation that will reliably convert an exe over to something a Mac can use. Can't use the figure anyway since the obj would do me no good as it is since it is not poserized but thought you might want to alter the exe or the label of pc/mac . thanks

The exe is a self-extracting zip file. There's no way a Mac can open one? Not even with something like the Connectix Virtual PC for the Mac? I never used a Mac but I thought that the recent ones came with emulation software. Since OS 8? Later? I know they had emulation software when I was looking to buy one about two years ago. Or was that part of an OEM software package? Anyway, I've changed it to PC only for now until I find out differently

Maybe the .exe file can be opened in Virtual PC. I use it sometimes to help me with some pc only files and usually works for me. If you want to sell it for Mac too, you should post a mac version only (as massive mike or voluptuous vickie), as a .sit file or something like that. VirtualPC isnt coming with the Macs (at least in Spain). It was a previous offer.

Forgot something. If you want someone to convert the file to Mac format, I can do it. Send me an e-mail.

I am not sure about virtual PC since I don't have that. I can open zip files fine but have yet to get an exe open. Zip files are fine though as are sit. Sorry to cause a hassle. The file looks good S

Don't worry about it. This thread caused me to find a sit file compression utility (Alladin DropStuff) and I've uploaded a sit version to the store. The only thing I don't like about DropStuff is it dosn't allow me to look inside the archive and set the extraction directories. Is there a better one out there for the PC?

Not sure about the extraction directories since the Mac would be really different for you. Zygote has it's thing that puts it into place but most don't. There is a different version (for Mac at least) that allows you to open and view. Not sure for the PC though. it normally has better compression too from what I have heard.
