I have Vue 4 & mover. I use Vue to do landscapes for my Poser figures - only a hobbie. Iwas wondering if it is worthing upgarding Vue & if so what would be the smartest & best suited upgrade? I am no great artest by far...however want to be able to model with ease - nothing too mind blowing.

Vue isn't a modeler, but if you're looking to upgrade, there are several ways to go. The least expensive for you might be to take a look at the new Vue Easel, which should be in the e-on software store shortly. Here's a quick page about it: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Products/vue5easel/ Basically, it's the new entry-level product for the Vue line, but the pricing will be great for the introduction. Vue 5 Easel will retail at $89 for the download with an introductory price of $79 until October 31, 2005. Physical products will be added in the store shortly, retailing at $99. If you're a registered owner of Vue 4, you can upgrade to Easel for $49 for the download version and $59 for the physical product. You can also go over to e-on and take a look at their product comparison chart (at the link).jc posted Sun, 02 October 2005 at 1:53 PM
On the e-on product pages (not too easy to find) there is a side-by-side product comparison page. You could inspect all features there and decide which are most important to you. No one but you will know which features you care most about, so it's hard for anyone else to answer your question.
Of course, if you want all possible fetures than you want the latest pro version, Vue 5 Infinite (plus the latest improved build).
Aha! Djeser beat me to a response - and a nice link :o
