A note on the possibility of passing a bill to charge for e-mails crossed a friend's desk. I'd like to forward copies to this site's fora and spread the word. The bill has a number and may be up for vote soon. How can I send it to Renderosity? I'm sure the news will get spread around much wider here than just sending it to friends here and there. I think it's very important that as many people know about this as possible.

This is an Urban Legend and has been around forever. There are no plans to charge for E-Mails. Check out this link: www.snopes.com/inboxer/pending/email.htm GG

If this Is a hoax, I'm delighted. What this does show, however, which is not delightful, is how little faith we have in our government, and how suspicious we've are of our governing bodies. It also shows, as Bill Maher of "Politically Incorrect" has pointed out on many occasions, this isn't really a "free" country anymore. No, I don't want to live in China, or somewhere else. I just think that more of the country has to be more involved in what's going on in this government, to keep us free, and out of the clutches of the power-mongers and corruptors, and those who want to turn this into a Theocracy.

I had read that type of mail three and two years ago as well as last year.
