Subject: ScareBear - Free For All - October 5th

Okay, I first want to thank all of you for your help and support during Katrina. I'm waaaay behind but I had to do something to show you how much I appreciate being part of this community. So, I've been working non-stop on this little guy. He'll be ready some time tomorrow, October 5th and the base figure will be free for everyone through Sunday the 9th, after which he'll go on sale. The base package includes Scare Bear, the smock (with pose pointers), and the axe. ScareBear (base) has over 40 expression morphs and dials, is IK-enabled, Mimic-Ready and P6 Walk Designer ready. He has subdivided textures to give him a clothed look. Will include Poses and other little things. I hope you'll like him :) But don't cuddle with him, he gets um... er... carried away.

thanks for the awesome gift! I'm sure everyone was more than happy to help, you've given a lot to the community... I was so glad to hear you and your wife made it out okay...I dont know your current situation, but hope if you're not already back home, that hopefully you can be sometime soon...I also hope you didn't lose everything...although, if you still have each other, that's what counts the most! :D Karen

OKAY :) He's good to go and available for free though our Site Store. If you don't have an account, you'll have to make one - Only need a valid email address, Salutation, Name, DOB and a password you create. No other information. Two reasons - I'm more easily able to track the amount of interest and it becomes a purchasable after the 9th (no exceptions).

You're all welcome. :) And as you'll see, this isn't a watered-down product (in lieu of the PLUS package) - there's plenty of stuff in there. Please point me to any renders you do or come across. I'd like to see him "playing" with the other toons - evil smile

Not to make a commercial posting here but if anyone has an issue getting the free Bear whilst purchasing something else, please do the Bear as a separate order - actually I suggest that until I can get some things sorted out. Thanks :)

That's a link to the bear morphs. If you click "Scare Bear" in the text below it, you get taken to the bear. I tried to get to that link, but it's been stuck at "loading" for several minutes. So this is the best I can do for you. The file name is: NWS-ScareBear-BASE.zip

Poses? What poses? I know there were some with the base bear, and now there are morphs.... but I don't see any separate poses unless I've missed something. The bear comes with a bloody axe.

Marque, the bear is at that link. It was free over the weekend, but isn't anymore. But you can buy it from Netherworks' site if you want it.

I know it was free, meant to go get it but just got busy. Hit a screw with my front bike tire so had to replace it. Decided to replace both so my money is pretty much shot. But thanks, I appreciate it. Will just delete the other freebies that go with it since I won't be using them. Marque
