Hi, Um, been playing with the Critters and the Alien landscape concept again. Perhaps if you have time, you might care to say if this version is any better? I know the sun is not showing the textures very well, I forgot about changing the sun's position until after I'd posted. I will adjust that later, but I want to remove the less good versions of this theme first, so which is best of the three?Measure

Just a few things. Your shadows need to be darker to match teh shading of the objects. Either taht or increase the ambience or set up a few fill lights to get things to match. To save on render time the fill lights don't have to cast shadows. (I use this to simulate reflected light from the groudn so with that in mind think of the ground color when you do that. Somethign I do to make my pictures better is after I compleate one I put it on my desktop on my computer and leave it there for a day then I have soem oppurtunities to see things taht need adjusting and I often go back and change a few things to get the picture the way I want it.

looks good to me..the backgrounds' filling up well, and good critters in the foreground. I stated an alien landscape last night, used too complex a texture, and crashed the PC..:| sigh..;) well, I'll try something else..keep 'em coming.
