Anyone else have trouble using a credit card there? I'm trying to buy something, and it keeps declining my credit card. It's driving me crazy. I checked my credit card balance and there is tons of room and my purchase is under $10.00. I've entered and re-entered the information several times and it keeps spitting it back at me. This is the first time I'm buying anything from there. The other times I've "bought" stuff there was the free items that you have to put into your cart to download.

Well, it's definitly a problem at their site. Actually I'm kind of glad too. I found the same item here for $1.50 less than CP was charging and had no problem in using my credit card to buy it either.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. What I do is just use PayPal on CP. I prefer to use PayPal anywhere that accepts it.

wow. I just gave up on giving them my money. I figure if they want to decline my valid credit card, that's fine. I'll just give my money to someone else, and get it cheaper to boot.

Don't use CP. I've received an E-Mail from them regarding a purchase I was trying to make and my card wouldn't go through either. They told me that they are brokers for other sites which is to say they are the middle man. Just go to the source to purchase your items. It's much easier and cheaper. Adrian

...EF needs to learn one of the most basic, and important, rules of selling anything: "Make it easy for the customer to buy." I still haven't bought P6 because of all the hassles I read about people having on CP.

I got this email from them today in reply to the problems I was experiencing:

Quote - Hello Linda, How did you get the url you're trying to use? You are on our Development site, not on the live site

I did a google search for the item I was looking for and there was a link to CP. I clicked it, arrived at the item and added it to my cart there. If you can't buy from their site, then they shouldn't have a cart that you can put things into!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys this is a really simple case of Acadia finding a link to our Development site. I'm sorry she had trouble. Linda, Being that its a Development site means that its in a constant state of change and isn't meant for you/public to use. There were two pretty clear indications you were in the wrong place. First the url in your address bar in your browser was not www.contentparadise.com and secondly you recieved a SSL warning when checking out. This should have raised an eyebrow that you weren't in the right spot. Sorry for the trouble, but we can never gaurentee the development site is going to be 100% functional. -Rylan CP Developer

The site is supposed to work just like the normal CP, thats what a development site is for. The listing in google is already been taken care of, I can't make them reindex any quicker unfortunately. Again, I'm sorry you had trouble and now you know what to look out for in the future. Also as a novice you should never purchase from a site that gives you an SSL warning error. Regards, -Rylan

I have to admit that I'm rather put off by the experience. It's not the easiest site to get around in, and then this... I'm afraid that unless your site has something to offer that another site doesn't, I won't be purchasing from there again. It's just too confusing for me. I hate shopping at the best of times... and that includes online shopping. The only way I could find that item at your store was through a google search. If I can't buy the item I find... then I won't shop there.

Sorry that you had trouble. We're always open to input and suggestions on how to make it eaiser. Google indexing our devsite is already been resolved and we're waiting on google to reindex. -Rylan
