I cant believe the speed increase in apo at the moment .. what used to take my PC 1hour to render a flame at 3200x2400 now takes 1-2 mins HAHAHAAHAHA ... Thats Fu@k`n crazy that Peter and those freaks over at sourceforge could optimize the code that much.... Thanks guys Bring on apo2.03 and apo3 Andrew

Piotr has been bragging about the rendering speed of the next version of Apophysis... and it should be out very soon... I'm hanging to lay my hands on a copy ASAP! The suspense is killing me! T.

Who? Me?

You know...that's one of the reasons I switched to UF. Might be time to take another look at Apo.

Am I missing something here guys? I'm using the current version of Apo Z, and although the rendering speed has increased it's still way slower than what you have, Andrew. A standard 1024x768 flame takes about 20 minutes, which in itself is an impressive increase compared to the 30+ minutes with the earlier Apo versions, but less than two mins...that's really insane!
