just playing around with some old shader node settings. this is 3 high rez ball props with a bunch of shader nodes.

I would make the atmosphere colour brighter maybe with an ambient setting? apart from that it is very good.

I do have some ambiance set on it. i actually rolled it down from what it once was because if you got round to the dark side of the planet the glowing atmosphere looked really weird. i'll have to try some other settings.

from the satalite images i have seen, earth looks pretty flat from this high up. :)
