After a recent thread here, it became obvious that more than one of the Brycers here need some help in understanding the light-feeds of Bryce (they know who they are*) :-P *FranOnTheEdge/Diolma/rstar/...and perhaps more of you? I was going to knock-up a tutorial and post it here yesterday, but something came up. Instead, I've ripped this demonstration from one of the free PDF guides I've been working on. It's not 'exactly' what you need to know, but it's VERY important knowledge to have if you use Bryce, and should give you a more solid foundation of understanding light-material interaction. I suggest that anyone who needs this, to visit the link and be sure to save it to your hard-disk - I can't keep it in that location for long, sorry. http://downloads.pumeco.com/brand/pumeco/light-feed.html Len. (This is ESSENTIAL Bryce knowledge - be sure to learn it).

That is one of the best most well presented Bryce tuts I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Thank you;)

I never intended to make art.

About time you used your knowledge for something other than evil.
I take back some of the mean things I've said about you.

Thank you, Pumeco.
That one illustration speaks volumes and is clear about the differences. I can hardly wait for your PDF's to be available.
Thank you for taking the trouble for us.

Sorry for the necro-like behaviour but I need a favour.

Does anyone still have this file saved to their hard disk?

I'm wanting to post it to help out someone on another forum but can't find a backup of it.  It's actually wrong, and I need to edit it before reposting it.  So, if anyone has a copy I'd appreciate it if you cold email it to me.

If anyone can help, please drop me a SiteMail and I'll give you my email address.

Cheers,
Len.

pumeco posted Mon, 07 July 2008 at 1:24 PM

It's not there anymore and I can't find a backup.
I'm hoping someone will have it saved to hard-disk.
