This is what I believe is a Brahma bovine, bull or cow I do not know since this amimal is not standing and is not polled. The question...would you leave the spots(flies?)or remove them? I lean toward the "as shot" image with nature as it is. Any thought is appreciated. Tomdart.

I did one image awhile back of a cow and did remove some of the flies. It did make it look nicer, but then like you say...not as the way it is in nature. I like this as is here.

Nature has an awesome way of creating interesting textures, and we photographers often think first to fix it because it might be "distracting" to the viewer - keep it as it. It adds that little touch that lets you know this is real (or clever texturing on the 3D artist's part). Nice shot, by the way!
