I seem to have problems with all the kozabaru hair types. In all renders there remain areas that are dark and I can not find a way to change this. If I use other hair such as DAZ Aila hair the problem does not occur under the same render conditions. See the 2 screenprints with enlarged areas to see what I mean. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this since I like the Kozabaru hair. I downloaded the hair from his site.

Have you tried to set transparency and transparency edge to 1.00000 for hair? I think that generally works. Koz has a couple of tips for improving Firefly renders for his hair if you look at his digital babes site. Good luck!

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)

thanks for your tip. I have set transparency edge from 0.6 to 1 and translucent value from 1 to 0 and I now get good results. Richard
