Subject: How do I create blood?

I'm working on my detective theme and I want to know how to make this guy appear that he has been shot in the head. I didn't know how to make the pool of blood. PapaBlueMarlin

It looks like the easiest way to make the blood would either one (looks like you rendered in bryce ) make a symetrical lattice that is flat and slightly rippled. and pain it red. If you don't have bryce, use a post production program like photoshop and manually put it in with layers... hope that helps.

If you have Photoshop you can get some nice plugins from Alien skin that do drips and water effects. Post producion is probably your best bet.

Using eye candy 4000 for Photoshop, I added blood to a texture I use for Vicky. I used the Water Drops filter colored red. After, in the same document I added a grey layer, turned off the vicky texture layer and re-ran the same exact filter colored white. This created a bump map for the drops. smerc
