Hello I am thinking to make a male character to be my first product in MP. Can you help me finding the right figure to use in order to have a litle bit sucess . As Michael 3 has already some great characters , my doubt is between James or Apollo Max or even another. Waiting for your good colaboration

I agree, there is not a lot for James.

I would like James to have more characters. He came with P6 and there isn't a lot for him. I like the Apollo character but he's priced so far out of my reach, I'll never have him.

James, Apollo, or David any of these ... personally I like David.

I also vote for James. His morphs are great and he is easy to pose. I have the Koji character for him, but they are very similar in body type. He is really just James with a different skin color. It would be great to have a stocky, hairy or mature character for James - something different in terms of body type. Do this and you will make me a happy guy. Thanks. seattletim

James, certainly, everyone with P6 has him but how many use him even though he came with nice clothes and accessories? I don't have David or Appolo and don't expect to unless somones buys them for me :) Hairy is always good, really hairy like Burt Renolds or Sean Conery, hair ches going down to pubic and hairy underarms! I would really like to see this! Also something other then all these toned body builder types would be nice but that is not as important to me as new head shape and lotsa body hair! Finally, if you can go for the volume sales at lower price... I understand hight price for something with small market but if you think it will interest many people I think low price is nice like BATLAB, I have spent more money total with BATLAB and 3Dream then with author of UZLITE... reason? It is easier to spend a few bucks here and ther then to make a relativly easier purchase more frequently. Anyway, something for the standard Poser figures would be very nice but I don't know how much market there is for it... I myself invested in Judy.

the question is are you creating your own morphs and texture?? OR is the package you are putting together using his current morphs? If you are creating your own morphs and texture, I pick James also....If this is using the morphs he already has, not sure how successful that would be

James is a tough character to morph because unless you want muscle characters from the original mesh. The musculature (ripples) in his back do not smooth out too well.. At least this was my experience and others who have tried too..

That is always the case... these guys are more "buff" then any I see at the gym or showing off on the beach!

considering there isnt a texture map for creating new skin textures or hairy textures for james, and the ones that you manage to pull out for him are so complex, its gonna be hard to make a James hairy... The king of the hairy men JEPE has just recently decided to quit doing hairy textures for any of the Poser figures, so I wish you luck with making a Hairy Burt Reynolds type out of James. My vote is definately for James if it's a new texture set or two that you're planning! Don & Judy from Poser 5 at least could wear Mike & Vicky 2's skins. James and Jessi need some good skins.

Heres what I was talking about.. I tried morphing this old out of shape man using the standard morphing stuff..Notice the back !! I had problems trying to get rid of the musclature in the back.. Dials and magnets don't work too well. And I suspect exporting to 3rd party modeling programs would not work too well on this issue either since they are embedded tightly in the mesh..

This looks nice.

Thanks Jepe sells some hairy brushes and some M3 overlay kits for doing your own..M3 hairy transparent overlays can be stretched and distorted in Photoshop and made to fit on James but it is a tedious trial and error approach. Using the his brushes give the best flexibility and customization ability...
