Hey all, I know this has been done in the past. Though I dont plan to do this again in the near future. I am amazed at how many "Speres over water" images are in the H20. Yet these few I post below, as far as I know never even made it in there. To me, a couple of these are beyond just good, they are GREAT. Just thought I would share a few pics that I thought have been overlooked and call attention to em... do what you will after talking a look. Not saying to vote for em. Just think they deserve some notice.... http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1072376 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1072255 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1072210 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1072564 If any of these made the h20 and I missed it.. Forgive me. Hope all had a good weekend.. Keep on creating. -B

I actually voted a couple of days back for them, but they never showed up in the top 20, I guess they didn't made it.
I think this one was neat also

I am not critisizing any work in the top 20, Art is Art and each work is great in its way, but I do think by all praizing and voting for certain works as the spheres above water, an artist doesn't move on to a higher level (as he/she thinks THIS what I am doing right now is fantastic, all love it!), doesn't develop, doesn't learn from errors and I think a lot of potential is missed this way. No hard feelings to anyone.

Bryster, this may be true, but after the 2859st sphere over water I'm more than bored of them!

Now I'm truly embarrassed. Trying to find out why my search for the first link kept opening my latest image. Five flippin goes at it!. Totally honoured that you have chosen my picture and certainly surprised. Thankyou Bruce and to all others that have viewed and left their comments. Marc :)

Now that Bruce has done this, there's something similar over in Photography forum. One of the moderators goes through the photo gallery and posts an article with links to what he considers the best images posted during the previous week. I think it would also be a good idea here. What do you say?

Does that moderator work full time? it might be to much for the mods here as they have another life outside Rendo and time maybe a factor..........it takes me long enough just to view other peoples galleries and thats just for one, there must be over 5oo or so in the Photography section. Would be nice to see it happen, just have that image in my mind.........sitting and waiting at the screen for the next upload! LOL

About a year (or two ago) I did that same thing you mention erlik for about a month (I think) where each week I'd go through the bryce gallery and pull up the images that didn't make the hot 20 but due to apparent viewer disinterest (or maybe boredom lol) I stopped doing it - surprisingly, on a good broadband connection, it didn't take too long to do each week (from memory one-two hours maybe to search and gather the urls into a post). I think Ang has done it a couple of times since then as well.
