I am not trying to stir up anything but is there anyone who checks files from this site to see if they contain any virus?

I do not know but I did download Thousands of them and never get a problem. If you refer to the predator it is normal that you get a message from your virus protector (mCafee or norton or else) becuase it was specified in the first post from the creator. It is normal and it is not a virus. However I do not recall the exact thing that cause that....but no problem with the file

I have never had a problem and I have also downloaded thousands of items. I assume you are asking if it is safe to download from the Renderosity site? I think almost all downloads are redirects to other sites, so maybe someone with more experience could answer this question. I keep my anti-virus running for everything just to be on the safe side.

Obviously, anything you download, from here or elsewhere, should be run through your virus program.

The FreeStuff items are not really stored on this site, just linked here.

If i remember correctly there is an embedded video clip in the installer of the Predator character that looks like a virus to anti virus softwares. /Ohman
