Subject: Problem with TravisB's Tribal Character on Renderosity Store

Arendar ( ) posted Tue, 06 March 2001 at 10:05 PM · edited Sat, 16 November 2024 at 3:29 PM

I just purchased Travis Bourbeau's "Tribal character" from the Renderosity Store and ran into some problems. The character just refuses to load! I think some file(s) may be missing from the zip (Tribal1006.zip). Has anyone encountered similar difficulties? I've sent Mr Bourbeau an e-mail on the above. I have requested that he checks and updates the zip file soon so that I can re-download the character from my purchases at the Store. I also bought his Senjin character and had no problems with that. Incidentally, this is the first problem I've encountered with a purchase from the Renderosity store (20 items). Keep up the good work guys!

By the way, the included texture and bump maps of the Tribal character are pretty cool too, especially on Wyrmmaster's "Massive Mike"!

I'll check it out.

Yes there is a problem with a missing JPG. I've contacted Travis, about the problem and he should reply to you as soon as possible. -JH.

Thanks Jeff, it may be more than a missing JPG; a "hunter2.obj" was indicated to be missing by Poser 4 just before the character load process was terminated. Well, at least I have the texture/bump map to play with in the meanwhile!

You're right. Looks like the CR2 was made with the Pro Pack. I asked him to recreate the figure with Poser4.03 Still waiting for a reply. -Jeff
