So Ang, you finally got it? Geez, you're right, it's way too early for this but it's indicative of things to come. Hope it all disappears for you come the dawn.

I'm thinking that if there were a way to get rid of the big flakes the rest would make a decent star field for a bryce render, lol. :P

One of the reasons I live in San Diego, where we have 2 seasons: rainy season and fire season--plus a short inter-season when the rain has stopped but everything is still too wet to burn. Although that really is a cool picture.

No snow on Colorados wetern slope except up at the 9000ft range, I actually look forward to some snow so I can see my new zen garden, with the grasses and rocks partially covered and the temple lanterns lit at night, see if my design needs any tweaking...=)

I live in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and just 35 miles to the west of here at higher elevations there was about 6 - 10 inches overnight. WooHoo !

my first thought was why did she make that snow texture in the back so dark, lol. In holland we long for snow as it means skating fun too in most times, in the last years we mostly got much rain instead of snow and ice :(

roflmao, love that dragon pic and I'm sure as hell glad I didn't see that when I stopped to take the picture. As a side note, I was trying to get my camera out and ready while driving in this storm, and had a few moments where I came close to the side of the road and had this bizarre thought - I go off the road, end up in a ditch and they find me still grasping my camera, lol. That was when I decided to wait till I stopped the car. Luckily, most of the snow melted and I didn't have to shovel this time ;p

And here's a picture I snapped inbetween rain showers less than two weeks ago. The foliage around here has been beautiful, unfortunately there hasn't been any sunshine.Incarnadine posted Sat, 29 October 2005 at 11:13 AM
Your challenge, should you accept it, is to see how close you can bryce that image. Great shot Ang!
