I was wondering if anyone has poser 5 and 6 running on the same computer with out any problems. I have Poser 5 and I am thinking of buying Poser 6. Also can Poser 6 be installed on top Poser 5?

you want to install them to seperate folders and they'll play along nicely. if you install 6 into 5's folders... no idea what will happen lol....

I have both Poser 4 Pro Pack, Poser 5 and Poser 6 (and Daz Studio) installed on the same HD. Not in the same folder of course, but P5 and 6 both resides in a Curious Labs folder. No problems at all.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I'm running both P5 and P6, kept in distinct sub-folders, with no problems. I have P6 set up to use the P5 runtime, and still install to the P5 runtime. If you want P5 to be able to use the same content, be very careful not to use compressed files or external morphs in P6.

I've got PP, P5, and P6 all installed. No problems at all. P5 and P6 share runtimes. I also use the PP runtime in P5 and P6.

Had both running, no problems but I'v just transferred all my P5 stuff into the P6 runtime because I got fed up swapping between the 2 runtimes!! If you do that you only need to copy over the "library", "textures", "geometries" and "reflection maps". You can then effectively get rid of P5 if you want but I keep it there as backup due to the still unpredictability of P6.
