Anything wrong with Image? For some apparent reason. I feel now, something is wrong.

There's not enough ground shadows. It looks as if she's not REALLY standing on the floor. At least that's what struck me when I saw it. Nice pic btw :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

My guess would be that too much of her mass is forward of her center of balance, especially considering those heels she's standing on ;-). Try pulling her hips back and seeing if it looks more natural to you.

Got the pose right out of a mag (Cosmo..). 35 hits and not one rating. But a another pic gets 5 ratings in 20 views. And it is not even worth a rating. Will work on another one. :-( So, I had to ask. Sorry everyone.

The rating thing depends on whether or not it's your friends who sees the pic or just casual passers by. While some passers by may also comment and rate the pic, it's more usual for people you actually know to do so. 35 hits is not a lot, I've had pics with over 100 hits before the first comment came. I didn't comment on it when I saw it because since you'd started this thread I reckoned it was sort of a WIP.

I am no longer bothered by number of hits and comments. Usually the more I like the pic, the less comments and hits I get. Weird but true in most cases. Maybe my artistic taste is too weird for the viewers :P The pic is nice. I don't think I'll ever do a pin-up with lights or posing even close to this one. Don't worry, just do what you like :)

Tony, what's important is what you think! I keep saying that art is subjective. What you like, may be something I don't, and vice versa. You'll never make everyone who looks at your art happy, so there is no sense in trying. All you can do is strive to make yourself happy when you look at your art. After that it's just icing if someone else likes it. If you did your best and you enjoyed making it, and you enjoy looking at it, that's all that's important :)

"It is good to see ourselves as others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to say." - Ghandi

I agree with the others here. Do your art for you, not for popularity or just ratings. Of course, always work towards getting better but, strive to be happy! Hell, my best rated pic here got only 5 ratings and it's not even a 3D render!!! Although that kinda bums me out, at least nobody has yet to leave any negative comments on my work (just like your pic) - I see that as a good thing. ;)

I deleted the render from here. If it isn't good enough, then why waste space. I thought I conquered something.
