Okay, I know it is a bit of a clich image, but I like it. The soft blue, the lyrical curves of the branches and pine needles, and the sharp silhouette of the bird speak to me like a visual poem. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! **:')**

Does make an enchanting image :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Really a beautiful entry Kort. CLAPCLAPCLAP Take a bow!!! #:O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I like how those branches appear windswept. Good start for your challenge images.

cool idea... :) and well captured... i sometimes think those silhouettes are hard to capture... can be quite a challange to get the right exposure...

Indeed.. somehow this reminds me of China... perhaps because of the fairy tale of the nightingale and the emporer.
