Does any one know how to get texture templates for Koji? When I open him in UVMapper I get an "Out of range UV coordinate data" message. If I ask UVMapper to fix this, the maps are all compressed oddly. If I don't correct it, a lot of the UV's are off the page. I want the textures to work for all Koji owners, so I don't want to change his mapping. I sent an email to Content Paradise a few days ago, but they never replied. Thanks for the help! --Jeff

I just finished guides for Miki and I'll be working on Koji guides next. Hopefully e-Frontier will be able to answer your questions, but I'll make a note to send you the templates and the guides as soon as I get them done if you like. SnowS

If I remember correctly from taking a look at Koji's UVs....here is what you can do. Do NOT correct out of range UVs as it will squish all of the out of range in range and also squash all of the other UVs along with it. (don't you love my technical jargon ?) Also, you are going to need to take Koji into Poser...turn off his genitals and save out a new OBJ to UV map from. Good luck. --Rebekah--

What good's a guide without his fiddly bits? o.O

sixus1 posted Thu, 03 November 2005 at 10:53 PM

The 'fiddly bits' are on a separate map, so if you want to create a texture that works on 'non-fiddly bitted' Koji, you have to turn off the genitals and save out a new obj. :) --Rebekah--

You can download the Miki guides here for now: http://www.renderosity.com/artistdownload.ez?fileid=22315&key=41067 For the moment, I'd appreciate if you would please download them only if you actually need them for creating a Miki texture. They will be hosted permanently at Content Paradise in the near future. Thanks! SnowS

Well as long as they're included I'm happy. Not that I make people textures or anything. ;) I doubt I'll download them. I've gotten lazy and just buy skin texsture sets these days.
