I suggested silhoutte a few months ago because it was something I wanted to practise. Today I got the chance and went down by the river to see what I could capture. I knew silhouttes would not be as easy as it sounds, but it is someting for all no matter what camera, beginner or advanced, there is a lot of photographic skill involved in getting compelling images that involve a silhoutte, and lots of room for creativity too. This is my first attempt. I will be trying to capture some others in the coming month and see how far I can improve with it.
And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.
