Does anyone know how to tweak Poser 6 to open faster and be more responsive in loading items from library. I am using XP Pentium II with 512 ram and nothing else running in the background. It took me 4 minutes for poser 6 to load and after it did it was really sluggish and at times would completely lockup the pc. I have installed the updates but it seems like this problem is happening more and more frequently. Thanks for any advice and assistance.

Split your runtimes. As more you install as longer Poser needs to start. Also a PII is not the best choice, may be you can add some RAM. For multiple runtimes look here:
or search for "multiple runtimes"

Well, for the startup time, you could use an external library browser and load stuff via python. That way you can just switch to an empty runtime inside poser, so it'll load fast again. But i doubt that you'll get any great performance with this old PC you have...
