If you have a few minutes, don't mind helping out, and maybe up to having a little fun with this - I could sure use the help. :O)The zip has a number of renders showing different ideas I have for textures for my upcoming Savana clothing. Some are good, some not so good. I have already culled quite a few, but am starting to grow cross-eyed.
I would like your help in picking say 4-6 you like the best, and another 6-8 as close runner ups.
So your results would be two groups:
first pick = 4-6 (Your most favorites)
second pick = 6-8 (Your next best runners up)
You can post your reply here, send me an IM, or email me at shadownet@edgeofnever.net
So, let the game(s) begin! (hehe always wanted to say that)
Note before downloading - the zip is aprox 11 mbs

The ones that I like:
Renders:
48 & 11 (they are nearly identical)
10
44
43
I also like:
13
29 & 37 tho they appear to be the same just rehued.
Hope that helps.
I particularly like the animal prints because there aren't many in the market at all, especially the white tiger pattern. Have you considered releasing a materials pack with the animal prints? I have been looking around for some and haven't found any at all.

Thanks Acadia. Yes, some of these are variations, either in pattern or hue, etc. My thinking there was if you were doing, say a group of cavegirls, they would not all be wearing exactly the same clothing, but it might be similar as far as the kind of material. The problem I have run into - as far as the main package - is room. I am already up to 21 mbs with just the Character, texture, and morphs, and the clothing, with all the FBM and transitions morphs, plus props. This means I will be able to include 4-6 textures (I hope) for the clothing in the main package. If I have a high number of hits on some of the other textures - I will put together a seperate bonus value package to be downloaded seperately. By taking a poll of favorites, I hope to include in the main package the most requested textures. The next favorites I can then include in a bonus pack, as space or demand, calls for.
I had a bit of a time finding animal prints myself. TheMadPainter had a few in her collection and I scrounged up the rest. My brother had a pair of bobcats that were stuffed and mounted that came with the house he bought, and I had a few deer hides and such I tanned as a kid when I use to hunt and fish, so I was able to get some good photos of those to work with. The rest I ended up creating in Corel between hand painting and use of filters, etc. If there is more interest for these kinds of material, perhaps TheMadPainter and I can come up with a set of materials. It will have to wait though, until she is able again to work (still having some medical problems and in and out of the hospital quite a bit) as she is the true texture artist (of our little team) and would have a better idea of how this pack should be put together.
I haven't added in your picks in yet to my running tally, but roughly, from the email replies I have gotten, the picks are running as follows - in no particular order, other than by group:
first pick - 9, 10, 12, 37, (43) (48)
second pick - 8, 11, 13, 14, 16, 21, 27, 28, 29, *30, 31, 32, 35, (43),(48)
As I had hoped certain ones are clearly standing out and will make the main pack. The seconds are varying quite a bit, so if I do a bonus pack I will include as many of these as I have room, going by most number of requests down until I have to stop. :O)

Thanks. Looks like 9 and 10 are coming up a lot. My personal favorite was 34 (which I attribute to being the hide from a rather colorful dinosaur, hehe) and so far no one else has picked it, so it is probably a good thing I am seeking help. :O)

34??? No offense, but it looks like a 60's tye-dye job to me. And a botched one at that ;)

LOL! Like I said, good thing I am seeking help! hehe

And yes I like #34. Who's to say there wasn't a colorful dino like that?
Revised. 4-10-11-19-35-40 with 34 as a BONUS texture! ;)

Heya, well if there was whacky weed, there might have been! hehe. Thanks for your picks. Really appreciated. :O)

Thanks Virtua36 @dlfurman 4 & 19? Hmmm, I didn't catch it last night, cause I was too tired. Me thinks the dinosaurs must have come along and gobbled those two up, looking for wacky weed. 10-11-35-40 will work though :O)

Okay, have a pretty good sampling now to go by, so will be shutting this survey down. If you have a pick and have not gotten it in yet, go ahead and post it here or email me, and I will include it. My thanks to everyone who contributed feedback. It was greatly appreciated. :O)

Missed the survey, but you've got some really nice textures there Rob :) We need to talk about doing a project together ;) Deb

Thanks Deb. Sounds good, as soon as I wrap up a few I have in the works. Always behind. :O) Btw, say a little prayer for my Mom and TheMadPainter. Both are back in the hospital again.
