Haha! I did the exact same thing just a few weeks ago!

I like what you did with the depth of field. Great choice. Have you considered going back in the a.m., like, say 8 or 9 a.m. to get some better contrasts and shadows, with that really crisp light that's present in the morning? The lighting in your images is very even, which has its place, certainly. But I'd love to see some shadowplay and contrast, because these have wonderful texture that could be further accentuated.
