I do not know what they did with the render (FireFly) engine. Sometimes the scale doesn't move for a long time that I have to "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to end the program (Waited over 30mins before closing). Then, I made this kick butt render. I do not know what the conflicts are, that sometimes the scale will not show, but says "Rendering", then rendering at other times.

Anyone having situations with the rendering?

I made this IBL AO setting many months ago, and my characters (Renders), didn't look this good.

Sorry, but I can't help with the situation. I just wanted to tell you that the render looks incredible! Especially the top of the head looks so photoreal! The highlights are like real human skin. Great job.

Wow - GI Jill! Top render. Something to try.....check out where the render is going slowly. Is it calculating the depth mapped shadows, or calculating image buckets. If it's the former, you can calculate your shadow maps with AO off, then reuse those shadow maps for the final render with AO on. See the above link for more details on how to do this.
