I have just bought a new computer and copied al my old stuff to it. When I try to load a file into Poser I get a error of "place new disk into drive. I found I have to edit each file and find all of the textures. I am using CRPro, which helps alot. I do have a lot of files to do this to. Dose anyone know a easyer way to fix this?

Either a) install Poser again b) delete the libraryprefs.xml (or whatever it's called) What do you have to edit in the files? Absolute references like Drive:Path? Then the best is to store the stuff on a partition with the same driveletter as before...

Thanks for the help. I have been working on this for 3 days now. I have tried reinstalling Poser, and I can't seem to find libraryprefs.xml in my Poser folder. I am using CRPro to find and edit the files that have to look for the texture, Geometries, and the location's of files they use to create the People, props, lights, cameras... ect.. Trying to partition the drive is out of the question, I let my sister have the old computer and I stripped all the files off it. So all the files are on this HD.

The libraries file doesn't show up until you have opened poser and accessed the library. After that it's found in "runtime/library/pref" Also, if the path to your runtime has changed since you last successfully used it, it is probably looking for the old location. Check and make sure that the drive is the same letter as what it was before you got the new computer.
