This is NOT my first race trial..did it last year. OOPS This IS my first with a new camera and when not participating in the race. These are quickly edited images from the race I could not participate in..doc's orders for two weeks or so...

The only recourse was to try an take photos. This was a wild experience in sun, cloud, dark roads and bright skies ...and fill flash. I did find out what worked. Unfortunately, when folks are running by, there is not a second chance for the same shot. Here are some images.

Any advice will be appreciated. TomDart.

The reason for....these are survivors of cancer. Some will be here next year. I hope all are. The one in the sunglasses is my young brother-in-law. Thanks for viewing...comments or advice appreciated. TomDart.

Yep, all are my second shot at this stuff....as said in first post, first time while not a participant and with a newer cam and strobe.

These are superb reportage shots Tom - great to see :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.
