Alas - even I, who thought I had a relatively bullet proof system/plan have fallen into despair. In the 2 year span that I have spent acquiring software, characters, textures, etc., either purchased or free; I thought that saving them in my stand alone hard drive would be sufficient. This was not to be. While away visiting friends, a break in occurred and my complete system was vanquished from my abode. All of my DAZ, Poser, Bryce and other accessory data installed; not to be mine any longer. Somehow, the older extra machine that I had stashed away in the back of my closet survived the skullduggery. Also, I still have my original software disks (they seemed to not be interested in these, which were also stashed away) - otherwise - I'd be completely out of this picture for some time. I guess the most depressing thing is the amount of time compiling these models, and organizing all of the files, is just beyond causing me to fall into the brink of madness.
Now that my financial status is at it's worst - I am asking any and all who feel my pain - if you feel in a giving mood - I would be eternally grateful. Even just to get my V3 morphs back would be something. Lastly, I'm keeping a sharp eye out for my system in the wanted ads, and local pawn shops - in the hopes that if it turns up - I can avenge this travesty (unfortunately without cutting off the feet and castrating the evil scum who did this).
