..Anything broken for the other Mac OSX users out there since updating to SR2? I am on 10.3.9 on a dual G5 2.5, but am intending to go to Tiger on it as soon as I get time. Cheers / Adam

I have the same config as yours, Adam, so want to bookmark this in case anyone replies. I haven't yet updated to SR2 or Tiger. I'd like to see how others are doing before I take the leap.

Poser 6 SR2 works great with OS X 10.4.3; seems to be more stable, renders faster, and is more compatible with Vue 5 Infinite. So far, so good! regards from texboy Texas Number One!

it breaks philc's wonderful Wardrobe Wizard Clothing converter plugin so i had to go backs to SR1 to do some conversions this past weekend. But phil &Co have already sent me a WW update patch but i have not had time this week to re-install SR2 and try the patched version of Wardrobe wizard to see if its fixed.

wolf - thanks for the info on the WW. I had read about the SR2 probs here (I think) and know Phil sent Kamilche a heads up regarding the issue. Hopefully all it will take is a few changes to have our WW back up and compatable. texboy - thanks as well for your feedback regarding Tiger and P6. I wasn't sure how it was working out. I may have to wait to update to Tiger until Bryce catches up....

I've had time to try 3 separate scenes that had foiled SR1; renders had reliably crashed every time, and the body part and material popup menus were completely fried. With SR2, the popup menus work flawlessly. One of the 3 scenes still crashes, unfortunately; but the other 2 render nicely. So it's not perfect, but it's a big improvement.

I am working on a 17" PowerBook, 1.5 GHz, 1 Gig Ram... 10.4.3. works fine except if I switch to another application, and come back, the background window disappears, along with the floating palettes. If you save the file at that point, the issues come back along with the file when you relaunch it. On the other hand, it does not crash as much...

works fine except if I switch to another application, and come back, the background window disappears, along with the floating palette Read the readme. You have Unsanity's WindowShadeX installed which is messing with some some system functions that Poser relies on.

Thanks - I will deactivate that and let you know if it works, or not.... I talked to a tech guy at e-frontier. He said he had the same problem on his PowerBook - but not on any other machines. I will pass this on to him so he can post to his FAQ.

Follow up - the WindowShade fix worked - shame on me for not reading to the bottom of the Read Me.

wolf - I just checked PhilC's forums but didn't see the patch for MacOSX and SR2 available yet. Any info on when this will be available? TIA! ~arry
