It starts to load, and then just goes away with no error messages. The last time it did something like this, it was a conflict when I updated to Quicktime 7. Not a happy user. :( Windows XP system

Search for Runtime/UI-Folder.Are al the *.xml-files still there? In case not ,you should better reinstall Poser.Just an idea.

Got loads of XML files in there. I tried deleting some of my prefs as well, but it still won't launch. It gets to the loading screen, and then just vanishes. :(

Try a side-by-side install. Install poser in a different location and apply the updates. See if the new, clean one will launch. If it will something is wrong in the existing installation ... backup your runtime(s) and do a clean reinstall.

It was the Quicktime 7 conflict again. I thought I had yanked the export module, but it must have put it back in again and I missed it. I yanked Quicktime and it takes off like it should.
