Just got this lens for weddings and maybe basketball (if it will focus fast enough). Thought I would share some of my test shots. So far I find the lens very sharp. I also posted a B&W shot in the gallery. Here is a shot of Orion. He is a pure white Siberian Husky.

Real good one of Aurora. I imagine all these look better a bit larger.

How do you avoid nose smudges?

great pictures, Randy! your dogs are gorgeous!! That portrait of Aurora is especially good! Kemal and i used to have a dog...half Husky/half German Shephard. He had blue eyes and was so sweet and loveable!! He looked similar to Aurora. :)

Kim - Roscoe sends his love back. Smooch. Doug - Thanks, yes the original files really show the sharpness and details, but trying to be dial-up friendly. Misha - Lens hood helps, but when the Donkey, Goat and horses all start fighting for your attention, you just got to run!!! Sheila - Thanks, Aurora is a beautiful dog. TwoPynts - So far real happy with this lens, yes a regular animal farm. Thanks everyone for looking.
